Privacy Policy
Effective 30 September 2026
Ease keeps track of the paperwork in your life that has a date on it — a passport, a licence, a membership, a policy — tells you when each one needs attention, and walks you through getting it done. It is operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"), which is the controller of the personal information described here.
What Ease collects
- Your account — your name and email address, and a password or your Google sign-in. One Memriq account signs you in to every Memriq service; being let in to Ease is decided separately, by invitation.
- The things you ask Ease to track — for each one, what kind of document it is (for example a passport, a driving licence or a TSA PreCheck membership), which country, state or organisation issued it, and its dates: when it was issued, when it expires and when its renewal window opens.
- Reminders — the reminders Ease has scheduled for you as a date approaches.
- Support conversations — what you write to Ease's support chat.
What Ease never collects
Ease never stores a passport number, a driving-licence number, a Known Traveler Number, a card number or a bank-account number. It does not ask for them, and if you type one into a conversation it is not kept. Ease does not buy information about you and does not add to your account from anywhere else.
How it is used
- To show you what needs attention and when, and to give you the steps for renewing it.
- To send you the reminders and messages you asked for, such as a waiting-list confirmation or an invitation.
- To answer your support questions.
Ease prepares a renewal and walks you through it; you submit every application yourself and pay every fee yourself. Ease never pays for anything on your behalf and never files anything with a government on its own.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and have not in the past twelve months.
Services that process it for us
- Railway — runs Ease's servers.
- MongoDB Atlas — stores Ease's records, in the United States.
- Neo4j Aura — stores what Ease's agent learns while helping you, kept within your account.
- OpenAI — the language model Ease uses to explain a renewal and answer questions.
- Resend — delivers the emails described above, through Memriq's one sender.
- Google — signs you in, if you choose Google.
How long it is kept
Your account and the things you track are deleted within 30 days of your account closing. Support messages are kept for 2 years, server logs for 90 days, and billing records, if you ever have any, for 7 years. Backups can hold deleted data for up to 35 days before it is gone from them too.
Deleting it, or getting a copy
Write to privacy@memriq.ai, or ask Ease's support chat to pass you to a person: we acknowledge within 5 business days and finish within 30 days. The same address gives you a copy of what we hold, or corrects it.
If you are in the EU or UK
We rely on the contract with you to run Ease, on our legitimate interests to keep it working and secure, and on your consent for anything else. Your information is processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date before it takes effect. Privacy questions: privacy@memriq.ai. Anything else: hi@memriq.ai.
